Marshall Economic Development was created in 1999 via a joint partnership between the City of Marshall and Battle Creek Unlimited to attract new businesses, retain, expand and support local businesses and promote the Marshall community. In 2003, the Marshall Main Street Manager was hired to lead the downtown’s revitalization effort in conjunction with the Michigan Main Street Program.
